The large light-filled living space upstairs is relaxed and open with comfortable lounges and sitting areas suited to enjoying the company of friends and family. Guests can browse through coffee table books, play a fun board game or watch the TV with DVD player and Netflix – all whilst relaxing in front of the inviting open fire place.
The well-appointed and modern ‘foodie’s kitchen’ includes an ample sized Miele fridge and freezer, gas cooktop and 900mm wide oven, Miele microwave and dishwasher and an abundance of crockery, cutlery and glass ware, as well as a chef’s knife block set. The necessary pantry staples – sea salt, pepper, herbs & spices, good extra virgin olive oil, glad wrap, foil are all well stocked so there’s no need to worry about packing them with your groceries.
A Nespresso coffee machine, Italian stovetop coffee percolators, a full range of Twinings tea’s and hot chocolates sit on the side buffet and are easily accessible at any time throughout your stay.
There are two outside decks; one a small north facing deck and the other, a large south-facing deck which includes a large family Webber Q and an outside table and chairs. This outside living space is perfect to sit and enjoy the stunning views of the alpine national park and valley beyond. Cloud 9’s boundary is Dinner Plain’s cross-country ski trail (in winter) and a bush walking track or bike rider’s haven in the warmer months. It is one of the very few unique properties with uninterrupted views of the national park and beyond.
Wi-Fi & Internet – Cloud 9 Lodge offers guests free wi-fi and all three televisions offer a range of free to air channels and Netflix.
Linen – All linen and bedding is supplied. All linen is professionally dry cleaned between guests. This includes all doona/quilt covers on every occasion.
The bus stop to Mt Hotham is only a few steps to the end of the lane, making it an effortless journey to the all the ski activities at Mt Hotham. And, it’s a quick walk into the village where you can enjoy the fun atmosphere of village life in the alps.
